Something I’m looking forward to this summer is the plethora of art-and-wine festivals that will be popping up all around us. There are many, many options this time of year, so I’ve highlighted a few located all over the Bay Area:
Los Altos Arts & Wine Festival
On July 13th and 14th, Downtown Los Altos will be transformed into a festival showcase for the 45th edition of this time-honored South Bay event. Choose vintages from local wineries, taste a wide variety of foods, enjoy live concerts, browse art from all across the nation, and let your little ones go wild in the dedicated Kidzone.
Alameda Art & Wine Faire
The charming Park Street District of Downtown Alameda will play host to the city’s 37th annual Art & Wine Faire on July 27th and 28th. Featuring over 200 artisans, live music, local wines and beer, a kid’s area, and trendy festival fare (think mango sticks and Dole whips), this signature summertime event offers nonstop fun for the whole family.
Fremont Festival of the Arts
On August 3rd and 4th, Downtown Fremont will be buzzing with thousands of attendees at what is hailed as the most expansive free street fair west of the Mississippi River. Expect hundreds of arts and crafts booths, an army of food booths and trucks, dual music stages, and a Kid City—complete with rides and child-friendly live entertainment.
Santa Clara Art & Wine Festival
Santa Clara will launch its 42nd annual Art & Wine Festival from September 14th and 15th at beautiful Central Park. This year’s highlights include over 160 different arts and crafts booths, an entertainment-packed Kids’ Kingdom, and gourmet options ranging from fine wine to samosas.
Planning to attend one (or all!) of these summer festivals? Let me know and I might just run into you!
