Silicon Valley Lunar New Year Together | Santa Clara | Jan. 31 – Feb. 1

Welcome the Year of the Horse with exciting Lunar New Year festivities, including lion and dragon dances, live music and cultural performances, and a street fair featuring 300+ vendors at the 5th Annual Silicon Valley Lunar New Year Festival. Winter Olympics Opening Ceremony Watch Party | San Jose | Feb. 6

Wishing you were in the snow-covered Dolomites for the Olympics? Then head to Little Italy and join a watch party for the entire primetime broadcast of the 2026 Winter Olympics Opening Ceremony and Parade of Nations, live from Milan. Valentine Fun Run | Campbell | Feb. 7

Commemorate the Valentine season at Campbell’s 49th annual Valentine Fun Run with your sweetheart, family, or friends and help spread the love! This fun morning run along Los Gatos Creek Trail invites participants of all ages to run/walk in a 10K, 5K, or Kids’ Dash. Click here to register.

Super Bowl LX | Santa Clara | Feb. 8

Witness football’s biggest night of the year happening right here at Santa Clara’s Levi’s Stadium. The SF Bay Area proudly hosts the 2026 Super Bowl matchup featuring the New England Patriots vs. the Seattle Seahawks. Week-long celebrations include the Super Bowl Experience, which is the NFL’s immersive football festival, the Pro Bowl Games (a contest of the league’s top players in an AFC vs. NFC flag football showdown), and numerous fan events around the Bay. AT&T Pro-Am | Pebble Beach | Feb. 12-15

Join thousands of golf enthusiasts watching 80 of the world’s best golfers compete on some of the most magnificent scenery in golf at the annual AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. For the third year in a row, this is a Signature Event on the PGA Tour, attracting the best of the best to two iconic courses, Spyglass Hill and Pebble Beach Golf Links. Chinese New Year Day Opening Ceremony & New Year Parade | San Francisco | Feb. 17 – Mar. 8

Celebrate the first day of the Lunar New Year—the Year of the Fire Horse—in San Francisco’s Chinatown on Tuesday, Feb. 17, at the Opening Ceremony held in Portsmouth Square. Festivities will take place through February and March, culminating in the world-famous Chinese New Year Parade on Mar. 7 with elaborate floats, a 288-foot-long dragon, talented performers, and firecrackers lighting up the night to the delight of millions of spectators. Clam Chowder Cook-Off | Santa Cruz | Feb. 21-22

Attention chowder lovers! Taste the best at the 45th annual Clam Chowder Cook-Off on the Santa Cruz Boardwalk. Sample chowder from amateur chefs on Saturday and from professional chefs on Sunday as they indulge in friendly competition, hoping to win prizes and bragging rights for Best Clam Chowder in the country’s largest (and longest running) clam chowder competition.
